One group session or individual lesson lasts 80 minutes and includes a warm-up and a cool-down. The total distance covered is typically 3 miles.
The payments for our walks or private lessons can be made at the time of the class by Venmo, cash, or check.
It is recommended to sign up for the session in advance. The number of participants is limited, so by registering you are sure to have a reserved place.
No experience is necessary for most sessions. However, for advanced classes, it is preferred that you have a lesson in the basic technique before joining the group.
No, you do not need to bring your own poles. I will provide them for you during the session.
Dress as you would for a walk or jog in a park. It's important to wear good sport shoes that correctly hold the foot and ankle. For uncertain weather, waterproof hiking shoes and a rain jacket are recommended. In colder weather, in addition to a jacket, a hat and gloves are advisable to avoid getting cold.
We love our walkers.
